Song Seung Hun’s Upcoming Korean Drama ‘My Princess’

My Princess

MY PRINCESS is the drama written by noted television writer Kim Eun-sook who previously penned *Lovers in Paris* (SBS, 2004) and *On Air* (SBS, 2008).
It still has no more details about this drama, even for a director and broadcaster for the show has not been decided yet. As well the other stars who will play in this drama are still in process. “Casting for the drama will wrap up soon and go into shoot starting August,” the official stated.


‘My Princess’ is reportedly aiming to go on air in the second half of 2010.

Song Seung-heon to Star in Remake of 'Ghost'

GHOST
Actor Song Seung-heon will appear alongside Nanako Matsushima of Japan in a remake of the Hollywood blockbuster GHOST.

The film's production company CJ Entertainment announced, GHOST probably the best romantic fantasy of the 20th century, will be revived 20 years after the original was made. The roles originally played by Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze will be reinterpreted by Song and Matsushima.

Song said, "I made up my mind to do it right after I read the screenplay, since the original was exceptional. I'm honored to have the part and I'll give it my best shot".

Matsushima is well-known in Korea as well through her performance in the Japanese version of the popular drama "Boys over Flowers".

The film is being co-produced with Andrew Cripps, president of Paramount Pictures International. Shooting is scheduled to start in June, and a release date is being worked out.

This is a special MBC project with 56 episodes total, and a historical genre circa 1960 - 2000. ' East Of Eden ' is a revengeful story of two men who were born at the same time in a same hospital and  Song Seung-heon is going to act one of the two, Lee Dong-chul.

SYNOPSIS~

This story will go back to the 1960s, the era of major student protesting activities.
Lee Ki-Cheol, a front-runner of the student protests is thrown into guilt when his lover's older brother dies instead of him, and he arrives at the coal-minining region of 
Kang-Won provence. There he tries to stop the evil-acts of Shin Tae-Hwan (Yoo Dong-Geun) of the TaeBaek coal mining station, by organizing a labor union but he is eradicated at the hands of Shin Tae-Hwan. Lee Ki-Cheol's eldest son, Lee Dong-Cheol (Song Seung-Heon) witnesses the event and vows to seek revenge. Meanwhile, a nurse at TaeBaek hospital, Miae, who suffered violation from Shin Tae-Hwan switches Shin's newborn son with Lee Ki-Cheol's son. Thus, Lee Ki-Cheol's son grows up as Shin Tae-Hwan's son Shin Myeong-Hoon,while Shin Tae-Hwan's son grows up as Lee Ki-Cheol's son 
Lee Dong-Wook. Lee Dong-Wook is recruited into his older brother Lee Dong-Cheol's revenge plan over their father's death, and Dong-Wook enrolls in law school at the Seoul University, and becomes a prosecutor. Meanwhile, Shin Myeong-Hoon is raised as heir of a conglomerate, and goes over to Hong Kong to begin a new life as the right-hand man of a Korean casino godfather.

This is the intense epic centered around these characters who realize their fates have been switched, and the events of modern history intertwined with their lives.
